Carmel Uncovered

Time to head south into Monterey Bay and explore Carmel. We're all about finding those hidden spots, and this time, we landed at the newly renovated Carmel Mission Inn. It's got a modern touch mixed with that cool '60s vibe we love.

Stylish Comfort with Poolside Views

Our spacious rooms are tastefully renovated with modern amenities and decor, creating a comfortable haven. Our room provided a scenic view overlooking the pool. It was our cozy spot to unwind and get a good night’s sleep.

Time to Relax and Unwind

After a day of exploring, nothing beats a dip in the heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi. This was a perfect spot for soaking up the sun with friendly staff to deliver their onsite bites and sips, which kept us well-fed and hydrated for our day of leisure.

In the evening, we cozy up around our inviting fire pits, which become our private retreat, casting a warm glow that perfectly fits the laid-back vibe. We shared some laughter and quiet moments under the Carmel night sky while staying warm beside the open flame.

Experience at Shearwater Tavern

Later, we wandered into Shearwater Tavern, the onsite restaurant. The atmosphere effortlessly blended high-end sophistication with a comforting vibe, creating the ideal setting for an exceptional dining experience. Every aspect, from the mouthwatering dishes to the carefully crafted drinks and impeccable service, contributed to a top-notch culinary affair. Choosing to stay and dine in this central Carmel spot is a decision we highly recommend.

To round off our overall Carmel adventure, we loved the charm of the coziness of the indoor spaces, the warmth of the fire pits in the courtyard, and the delicious meals. Our room, overlooking the pool with the backdrop of the hills of Carmel, provided the perfect retreat.

We are already counting the days until we can return!
